Stage 4

Students shape meaning through the thoughtful selection and ordering of appropriate content and by drawing on a widening repertoire of language choices.

Aaron's focus outcome for years 7 and 8 is thinking imaginatively, creatively, interpretively and critically about information, ideas and arguments to respond to and compose texts. 

During his own publication and writing this has been a focus area for Aaron as an author. That said, please contact Aaron if there specific needs your cohort needs tailoring to. 

Stage 5

Through close and wide engagement with texts students extend their imaginations and engage with images of their real and imagined worlds.

Stage 6

Independently responds to and composes complex texts for understanding, interpretation, critical analysis, imaginative expression and pleasure.

 

The H.S.C. is complex. Aaron is open to tailoring specific outcomes into a program to suit a specific cohort.   

Aaron's strength is in editing, writers discipline and refinement of language. Aaron draws from his own professional teaching experience, coupled with his writing journey and experience as a qualified Chef to offer year 11 and 12 students real world insights to extend their educational understanding of writing and story telling.
